Has any one here added nitrous to there car?? If so what are the results? What mods did you need to do to fit it?
Thanks Duncan
Subby has, as to the list of modifications done, you'll have to wait for him to reply.

you can go down a few paths;
nitrous oxide (wet setup)
nitromethanol
(both are pricey expensive chemicals)
nitrous oxide on a carby car it is tricky to setup and requires heavy duty preasure lines, soelnoids and foggers. (ie it mixes the nitrous oxide with petrol in the throttle body - "wet" setup). EFI is prob around the same hassel. you can feed it a good 50hp stock internals (assuing engine is in good working order).
i chose nitromethanol (about $40/lt). with that all i did was got a GOOD brass nozzel which shoots a fine fine fog/mist (0.5mm - good for 45hp). good rubber lines a small pump, and a tank, set up a switch to activate the system under wide open throttle. to use any chemical injection it has to be done at fairly high revs min 3000rpm +. i let it go ~4300 - 6000rpm (heh you'll see ur revs just flyyyy). nitromethanol is a liquid and contains a fuel with it also (methanol) so no need to mix. it wont do damage if not run longer than 10sec and occasionaly, petrol in the engine will wash the cylinder walls of it after running it. worthwhile id say so. not huge insaneeee gains but good (prob respond better if mine was EFI).
another issue is hiding it. getting caught with that will land you in a BIG mess. not to mention if your insurance comapny found out. all in all if you dont kno what you are doing you may just cause an explosion in your intake manifold and pop your hood off if set up wrong.

In my opinion, theres absolutely no point running Nitrous in a Magna, at least not a 1st gen, Nitromethanol is good because it wont damage **** like the Nitrous will. And your only gonna look like a toolshiner with NOS in a stocko 1st gen.

just like thos toolshiners that put turbos on there stocko 1st gen hahahaha
yeah nitros is only decent in a proper set up and i'd only go nos after i'd ran out of every NA tune possible, cause by then you'd hopefully have better internals anyway, build it up for nos and like has already been said too many times nitro is better but you cant have a rad blue bottle in your car, dont be fooled though most cars you see at autosalons etc just have an empty bottle and lines going no where and dont actually have nos built cars, its just looks.

nitro is safer to some extent as no high preasure lines, but then again its flamable. if everything is properly done its good.
omg my shift kit on the auto is insane i cant stop smiling :D . chirping fun!
sif auto. i'd run nitro in my car if i had done everything else i planned to do and did loose my license on the way to work last night :( suspended for 6 months.. thats gotta suck.
