Hi all,
I've just installed verada driving lights in my TH advance wagon using Heathyoung's DIY mounting bracket drawings. Although some adjustment in measurements for the inboard brackets was required and the usual fidling about to get the positioning the same for each light, overall, not too dificult to do and look great.

I have a question for those who've done this conversion before about how you wired it up to the car. I was planing to just use the headlight circuit but really dont want to have them on the whole time I'm driving at night. Plus the legal issues with the use of driving lights.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

i havent done it or anything like that, but would it be a good idea to hook it up to the headlights but put a switch on the dash for the driving lights to be switched on or off while the headlights r on?

The lamps should be wired in with a relay.

Power the relay from the "PARK LIGHTS" positive. Then run the coil side of the relay to a switch in the cabin.

That way they only come on whilst park lights are on ... which is whats legal for these "fog lamps" ... "Driving lamps" need to be wired into the high beam circuit so they only come one whilst high beaming :)
