OK, next problem.
For those of you that hae amp's mounted under your front seats, how have you secured them down? Because i was thinking of a few self tapping screws, but i dont want to accidentally drill through somethingimportant like a brake line.
And with the power for two amps, ialready have one cable running to one amp, can i just add an extension from this point to the second amp, or do i have to add a junction box/run a second cable from the battery?
Thanks Guys! :D

at work we install amps from time to time and for those people who dont want it drilled to the floor under the seat all we do is get a piece of ply wood or mdf and cut it to size for the holes then put it under the carpet and then screw or bolt the amp to it on top on the capet ... so it's nice and firm and no holes in the car ... pretty simple really once you think about it
just 1 more trick of the trade

Try Velcro, like big fat industrial velcro. but if u use small screws you should be right under the passanger seat in the way of brake lines etc.

What gauge is the cable you have running from your battery, if its 4 gauge then just run an extension (tho a junction box would be neater, but its pretty much the same thing) If its smaller than 4 gauge you might want a 2nd cable, depending on the draw of the amps you might get away with 8 gauge but still might want to run another just to be on the safe side. Or re do it with 4.

Yeah im going to try screwing it down and im going to buy a junction box thingy for the power later today. I never realized just how many pieces a car could come apart into.

Yes, it's a bastard to do and you'll discover new swear words while you do it!!
The way I did it was to pull the grommet off at the body and leave the door end on.
Then you can push straight upwards till it gets to the bend going into the door.
Put your hand at the top of the bend and then push from the bottom while pushing at the bend to work it into the door, a centimetre at a time.
Good luck. :D
EDIT: Wrong way around. Take door end off , push into body. Damn Jack Daniels :D

Ah its easy! I did it in 10 minutes on the weekend. But i used really thick guage wire. Take it off at the door. Feed the wire in. keep heaps of pressure on it, and just shake, squeeze, wiggle the whole rubber tube around... You'll be able to keep pushing the wire up. Then once you've pushed heaps through, use a coathanger to grab it through the little service hole behind the kick pod. Good luck! :)

btw, did the other side this arvo (drivers side) had a bit more hassles with it. But this time I just unplugged both ends of the grommet.
Unplug the door side from inside the door itself. Unplug the opposite end with a stanley knife, in the centre of each side where it butts up against the body to release the tab. Once you get 3 out the last one should come out too.
Get as much slack as possible out of the the wire running through the grommet.
Carefully unplug the plastic squeeze lug holding the wire inside the door, and undo as much of the rest as possible. By doing this, you should be able to bring the whole grommet out far enough to give plenty of room to get the wire through.
Then just squeeze the wire through and feed it back through each respective service hole.

try taping the wire to a coathanger and pushing it through if all else fails.

Just done the splits this last week too. And yes it may seem a bit over the top, but I took the whole door off both times. I popped out the grommets, unclipped the wires from the body and unbolted the door, making wire feeding extremely easy and with a coathanger, one side will take you about 45mins to properly install it. Make sure you have some silicone to replace the tweeter if you have factory pods, as aftermarket ones don't just clip on.
Good luck.

 hehehe... Eh well as long as its done lol
I guess it wouldnt take that long to get the doors off anyway, and probably save you a lot of frustration.
