Hey Jackson, nice work :)
Just as a side note there's 3 of those bars that I know of. Craig Harrison's, yours and another guy that was at the last AM NSW cruise when we met up with the evolution club. He has a burgundy/maroon tr with that same bar.
Good work all the same tho ;) looks good

I been busy with my exams etc... so I havent had time to get the larger pics done and I dont have broadband in Melbourne but I will get some up ASAP.
I was only told of Craig's JS bar but I am not surprised if there is a few more out there made by JS Sydney and other places. But I am sure mine was 2nd out of JS Melbourne.
My CAI is pretty much a pipe going from a spoiler on my front bar into the air box. Can be done with standard front bar but its abit twisty but still I think its better than dragging air from inside the engine bay. You will notice a little change in fuel economy. I get on average 650KMs on 60L (98 RON) with a fine tuned fuel curve on the A'PEXi SAFC II. (I found this measurement by driving my car to empty for along time and cant find a petrol station almost wet myself and when I finally can fill up... It read 60.9L on the pump.)
I decided not to drive into the city today and I couldnt find a park in Syndal Station.

650km/s to a tank for the 2.6ltr astron???
god damn, im lucky to get 400km to a full tank of RON91 (but i do normally get it with RON98 ... cept it to damn expensive atm  )
mined u mines compeltly stock and i think im in need a an engine rebuild sometime as well

My car has only done 60,000KMs. I used to get 400-500KMs per tank but with a refined fuel curves it runs alot better. At 2000RPM or lower with less than 35% throttle I use up to 13% less fuel.
The flatter and smoother your fuel curve is the better and thats usually where your performance is too...

Arh... Arh... YES! All you need is a pump... Pump it up and a few screws will keep them there. lol

If you dont mind me asking, how much (general figure) has it cost you to get it to this stage and how long has it taken you?
Also i noticed that contrary to a lot of the guys in the club you haven't changed to the diamante headlights, instead just replacing the bulbs. Are you gonna get the diamante headlights eventually or do you prefer the ones you have at the moment?

Fair enough, that's what I was thought they must've meant too. Wasn't putting you down or anything, just letting you know :D

I have never really thought about it and its actually quiet a few bucks to my suprise as I just add abit here and there since I got the car about 2 years ago. Its hard to say exactly without sitting down and have a good count but its around the $10,000 mark and thats under-estimate, including Sound System, Boot install, Front Bar, Engine Mods, Computer Mods, HID, Neons and little bits here and there... excluding labour.
To think back about it, sometimes I think its a little stupid but its has really been fun and most things I can take to the next car or sell off so its not so bad.

I dont actually mind the look of the standard headlights but I have considered the verada lights which I have a friend who owns a verada and will lend me their headlights to fit to my car to see whether it suits my front bar because thats been my concern so I want to see if it suits before I buy them. Unless someone can photoshop some onto my car. It was just a thing for me to get the HID conversion kit first as my parent have HID headlights on their car night country driving is alot better and more comfortable and your eyes dont get tired as quickly. But if I like the verada lights I will get them eventually. They are quiet expensive tho, so I may source a set from a 1st Gen Diamante in Hong Kong and may eventually import a whole one (4G63T 2.0L DOHC 4WD).
I currently have a set of veilside skirt that I will eventually fit on my car when I find the time to extend them a little bit to fit my car. But I currently have other priorities to take care of first but this project is still open for many years to come.

Can you post or pm me how to refine the fuel curve? ATM i can get 500 - 550 out of a tank with it almost running out of fuel, which is pretty good but if i can improve that and the performance of my engine i'm all for it.

Refining a fuel curve can be done in by using a fuel management computer or a piggy back ECU. For example, A'PEXi AFC, A'PEXi SAFC (I & II), A'PEXi PowerFC, TRUST Greddy E-Manage, etc... Not really practical to have one of these systems unless you have some decent mods to your car as these systems can be quiet costly and requires proper tuning that may cost around $200ish. Best places to tune them would be dyno tuner that specialise in turbo cars because other places are inexperienced at tuning it and will only do some parts of the required tuning so dont go the cheapo option whatever you do as I learnt from experience. As every car is different, you really need to tune them individually and almost everytime you mod it.
