Someone may have asked this question previously, however I'll ask anyway...
Assuming that tyre load-rating isn't an issue, is it possible to fit 20" rims to a lowered TJ Magna comfortably, what width rim & tyre profile would need to be used to achieve this?
For instance, Booya (Ben) I know you have 19" rims - was there a reason you opted for 19's over 20's ?
Thanks
Chris

Im working on this and done lots of research. To not throw the rolling diameter out by more than 15millimetres (law in NSW) you need to fit a 225/35/20, which i think is to small(narrow). nobody makes a 235/35/20 there for it would have to be a 245/35/20 which then throws rolling diameter right out the window. Dont know about he 245/30/20 is like as i will check tomorrow.
I have put a set of 20x8.5 on my car and they fit easliy, the only place they come close is on the rear on the inside of the tyre. can swing lock to lock no prob. they hang in the guards to so that shouldnt be a prob there but i will have the living proof after christmas now(shortage of funds as 20`s arent cheap)...

Tempe Tyres say that they do 225/35/20s, possibly in Nittos?
(Approved Rim Width: 7.5-(8.0)-9.0)

I recall a 225/35/20 is ment for a 7-7.5 inch wheel. i wouldnt trust tempe. 225 on and 8.5 looks stupid, will come off on the first corner you go round

TBuTcHeR has a set of 20s on his Diamante.. So I believe there shouldn't be too much of a problem with the TJs. He has a Diamante Espada.. and if comparing it to the Aussie Spec Mitsu's I reckon its like a KH..

I know for a fact the VRX has a differant suspension knuckle in the rear, the VRX has more room then the Verada, what tyre size is he running, must be 30`s as i dont reckon 35`s would fit under the top arm on the verada...???

Not sure about the suspension differences between the Verada & VRX, that said perhaps the Ralliart is different again, possibly even in my favour?
P Zero Nero ultra low profile tires from Pirelli come in 245/30/20... can't imagine that they'd be cheap though!
There is also the Dunlop Sp9000 available in these dimensions aswell as something in the Nitto range.

He has rolled the rear guards so they fit thou ... and the front sticks out 20mm so requires a roll or a wide body kit :)

the rear shouldn't be a problem i suppose, but you need to check the clearance on the front strut, it can be pretty tight down there.
20's do loook pretty, but forget about ride quality and definately not a wise choice for daily ride. 18's or 19's is the way to go imho, and 1 inch can make a lot of difference.
