Hi, after the previous owner had a slight bump in my car there is a crack in my front bumper which is gradually growing :mad: and also one of the bolts which holds the bumper underneath to keep it away from the road has been ripped through so there is now no hole for the bolt to go into, so I have decided to replace the front bumper completely. So I rang up the local dealers to get a price they told me $153.90 painted and around $270 painted, does that sound all right to you guys?? or should I see about getting it painted somewhere else?? Do you think it would be cheaper for me to have it installed at a panel beaters or by mitsu???

$270 doesn't sound outrageous. Not when someone I know rear-ended a Commodore, putting a scratch on it and then getting a bill for $3500.
