hi i added my verada tweeter pods today here is before and after.

how much they cost ya, did ya get em from mitsu??

i done the same on mine ... cost 15 bucks each from the mitsi dealer

i have mine sitting in the dash mounts but i think i like the look of those and may change the sound slightly......good not soo good :mad: i think i will try it, will also get the tweeters out of the sun better. Do the tweeters have to be a certain size as mine arent too big??

yeah not a bad investment ay buddy, paid bout the same ($14.65 EACH) and they look great

i think the difference between the dash to the door mounts of tweeters is neglidgable when comparing sound difference. as far as whether they will fit or not, my MB quart tweeter components fit easily and the dimensions of them are: depth of whole tweeter = 16mm (8mm for tweeter face and 8mm for magnet), diameter of tweeter face = 40.5mm, diameter of magnet = 31mm.

Yep will sound much better as they are pointed at the opposite headrest, so no ear piercing highs right in your face and better Staging. Tweeters arent really designed to be bounced off glass etc either. Jo_king, I'm also wondering what size tweeters they fit, would make a good holder for some ambient tweets maybe. Your tweets are Pioneer 1 inches yeah??

Ah thanks mate with the sizes.
I'd go the door mounts over the dash. But would mount near the woofer itself (in the kicks)to avoid separation over both the dash and door. Unless you have some direction(angle) from the dash mounted tweeters you'll find you'll hear the side closest to you louder than the opposite as the frequencies are dispersed from the glass. (also problems with the fact that you'll hear noise from the tweeter itself and then the reflection off the glass) Always best to point tweets at ears as they are very directional.

i found just by putting my pioneer tweeters in the pods the sound difference was a whole heap better and clearer. yeah same price $15 each makes the inside look cleaner too :)
