Hey guys, was just looking at a magna boot and you know that horizontal line that runs all the way along the boot lid,about 2/3 of the way up where the lower plastic trim butts up against the top metal section of the boot is... i was wondering if a length of EL cable could be inserted inbetween/ behind and what it would look like. Has anyone seen it done before.
Could be used as a brake light, fancy flashin light thingy in time to your music etc,etc.
Might have to pull of the trim and have a look. ;)
(Could'nt find a piccy of a magna boot so try and use your imagination)

I was going to do something similar...
EL wire does not last to long exposed to sunlight... and while the tube is sort of water resistant... the ends aint.
