 I'm looking for driving fog lamps for my TJ Magna Series II, would anyone have info on what type and where to purchase them from. They will be fitted into the bumper lower section where it has the housing for the lights. :bowrofl:

Best fit are the ones from mitsu, the current black duct looking piece in the front bar is removed and the fog lamp simply slots straight into it's place with a screw either side.

Then you have to run some wiring and hook up a switch etc, only problem is the genuine mitsu fog lamps aren't cheap - but they do look the best imo!

Last time I bought a set they were $290 each new from mitsu so $580 for the pair...

That was only a couple of months ago when I had to replace a cracked on my TJ Exec.

I was thinking of maybe getting some fog lamps for my Series II exec.

Is it possible to get them fitted as if it was factory original.. ie turning on the fog lamps from the indicator/light lever, rather than a seperate switch?

Yes I'm being nuts, just figure it would look neater than a seperate switch.

I'm going to cheap-ass it and attach polycarbonate covers over the bumper slots, paint the bumper area behind them and maybe place a circle of hazy polycarb behind the main sheet to look like a lamp from a distance. Just a thought. I guess I'll just :gtfo: . Luv this smiley and just wanted to use it!!

Easy, just hook them into the same power wire your headlights/high beams go through (Which ever you want to hook them up with)

If your in Vic, dont hook them up to your headlights, cause the cops will fine you for having fog lights on when theres no fog

either hook it to the high beams, or just make an extra switch and hide it somewhere? Under the steering wheel perhaps..

hook them up through a relay to your parker wire and a switch so you can turn them on or off as you please aslong as the parkers are on oh yeah i have a set 4sale if you want them but the have the verada bracket on them but easy enough to get around $200 for the set.pm me for more details.

You can buy the fog lamp protectors from mitsu for like $40.00 for the magnas but i'm not sure if/how these could be mounted without the fog lamps themselves, but they might do the trick and still look semi "original"

 Well the general indication i'm receiving is that the Mitsh lamps seem to be to pricy. So would anybody have the dimensions or size for the Mitsh lamps so that I can hunt down some close lookalikes. Thanks for all the reply's to date:cool:
