Have a TJ Series II Exec. Was thinking of doing some mods to it and am looking for advice on what to do (if anything) for under $500.
I am not looking at the performance side of things, more at the aesthetic side.

1stly replace the stock exhaust with a Lukey LR2779
Next in no particular order to ponder:
* Spoiler
* Painted calipers
* paint the dash and console
* bullbar :bowrofl:
??? Up to you really. :cool:

tail light tint (really dark)
chrome hubcaps
LED washer jets
chrome handbrake cover

* bullbar :bowrofl:
Dude, you may laugh, but at one stage I was seriously considering this. I reckon a big ar$e bullbar out the front with spotties, big mud flaps and big horned goat sticker thingie on the rear window and half a dozen aerials coming out from everwhere would look kinda cool. Of course you would need to add to this lowering, tinting, dual exhaust and CB. I reckon a magna would look heaps better than any commodore done like this and I really reckon that commodores done like this look seriously tough. Flame away, but its different and its good :cool:
Anyone else think it "could" work??? lol

Yeah? thats cool. :cool:
I was kinda thinking that with the more edgy look of the 3rd gens, they may be able to pull it off a little better given the edgy design of the bullbars and mudflaps etc.
I kinda gave away the idea of doing the bushy thing to my magna due to the fact i would probably be labelled a wanker at every street corner and the fact my car has really never seen a true bush road in its life LOL :bowrofl: But anyway, I still reckon a 3rd gen done like this would look damn tough!

Can't go past a pair of parabolic headlights, either that or get some lowered springs ... just my 2 cents

lower and tint
250 or so for springs, 250 for tint
but really if u wanna get teh magna looking sexy u might wanna put some more money into it i mean u got an exec i dunno if its got facotry rims or whatever but in my opinion cars that are low but sitting on stuck hubcaps kinda look funny... hence why im waiting for my rims before i lower
if u get about 2g's saved up u can get a nice set of 17's lower and tint it and then a magna looks 100x better

i know that u werent interested in performance mods but this is an idea that will cover both asthetics and performance as i usually find that a coat of red paint and a big "ralliart","drift" or any other racing stickers on ya car make it look sick and you gain about 13-17kw atw. True story :nuts: :bowrofl:

K&N pod filter dude. $200
parabolics or driving lights could scrape in under $300

I reckon,
Set of 40 mm lowered springs, $260, and you can keep your stock shocks no worries. Install yourself if possible.
Colour code side skirts.
Window tinting (Makes a bigger difference then you may think, and practical to)
De-badging, use hair dryer then use some eucalyptus oil to remove old glue, just dont use too much heat.
Clear side indicators, from a series two VT commo.
Probly a few more things but cant think of them right now.

get some hookers ?
:stoopid: ...... i like this dude :bowrofl:
seriously, if u dont have alloys or mags. Maybie you could pick up 4 alloy wheels like a 5 spoke or something. Get them in 15" so you can use your existing tyres. Rims should only be about $100 each new... either that or tint + lower it.
