Mine does it too mate. I wanted to show the mechanic at my last service but that's a bit hard when it goes away after 2 mins. It's definately not poor clutch control and the clutch isn't slipping.

I also have a rattling when the cars in neutral but it's supposed to be some loose bearing in the thrust plate or something like that. Do you have that too?

The thrust bearing is the one that pushes forward on the diaphragm to release the pressure on the clutch plate.

I had a similar problem to megatron in my Corolla. It had a worn thrust bearing AND the clutch plate was rooted.

I'm going with what Redav suggested and look at thrust bearing. They're a cheap component (about $30 tops) but you gotta drop the gearbox out to slip it on which is where you pay for it (in labour).

It's your choice whether you put up with it for now or have it looked at. When was your clutch last done?

You could have hot spots on your flywheel and pressure plate..do you give your clutch a hard time? :D This is usally a cause of clutch shudder.
