Ok hi all 3rd gen owners, just got a few quick enquiries, hope you guys can answer them!

Ok i am going to buy a TE/TF at the start of next year and i need some advice. I will be going to auction and would like to know what i should look out for problem wise? I should be able to pick up a TF for around 6-7k.
Secondly, i wish to know whether the TJ ralli art kit or any TJ kit for that matter would fit easily onto a TF? and how much is the VRX or ralli art kit worth? I'm talking Fibre Glass here, doesn't have to be genuine either. The best price would be great :). Also after the Ralli art rear wing, i reckon i could pick up a 2nd hand fibre glass one for less than $400. Also can anyone tell me how much they can get a redback cat back exhaust fitted? i've got $330 installed as the best price so far. Also looking at extractors, prices for them would be great. Just trying to work out how much money i need, will also be going CAI and a K&N panel filter. Also parabolic verada head lights would be mad how much for them 2nd hand? any help would be fantastic guys, thanks
Leigh

Not sure what you can check at auction but if it's gone over 100k's check that the timing belt's been changed. Look for wear and tear around the interior, any scratches or damage around the exterior. Previous owner and what it was used for.
All 3rd gen Magnas are pretty similar so it wouldn't be too much of a problem fitting a Ralliart kit (I think). It would probably cost a fair bit though.
I can't remember the cost of extractors or parabolics but a search around the forum should find a few results.
Where did you get quoted $330 for redback catback exhaust with fitting? That seems like a pretty good deal ...

tj kits wont fit due to the front bar is different but from TH onwards your fine but you could always just change the front bar. price sounds right though. i just picked up a TF Verada for $8500 private sale so yeah auction sounds right price.

The Ralliart front is made from fibreglass but the VRX is made out of plastic just to let you know. Oh and you'll be hard pressed in finding a Ralliart bar.

2nd hand Parabolics are probably gonna set you up for $450 a pair from what I've seen.

i have also been told to check the gaps around the doors, make sure the gaps are all even from the top of the door to the bottom. Apparently if there was any damage to the side of the car then this is the best place to check

i think SSV does VRX kits for about $1400...and you can pick up a TH front bar (which you will need to fit the VRX kit) for about $160...unpainted. i didnt think you could get ralliart kits anywhere without it being custom made? which would cost a lot id imagine

If just fitting a TH bar is all that i need than thats cool.
Talk to Hyper TF he got a red back cat back installed for around $330 here in victoria. Pacemakers are around $350 + installation a set. So i'm thinking extractors and exhaust i might get a discount on installation.
Also i've looked at SSV and they sell VRX front spoilers for the TF for $500. But i've always seen SSV abit expensive. Just because nearly everything i've seen on SSV, i've seen cheaper somewhere else.
I'm definatly going to try to make up a mock Ralli Art now, VRX body kit wont matter too much, just as long as i get the Evo 6 style rear wing, it will look like a ralli art(Seriously from seeing a VRX and a ralli art side by side, the only OBVIOUS difference is the rear wing). Also i've heard stories of people converting their TH front grill to a TJ, any chance of doing that to a TF?
