Too slow: ive been arround everywhere, and it is too much or they give me the run arround. e.g: A 2nd hand auto antenna would cost me $120 from a wreakers.

You can get a brand new one from Autobarn installed for $120.

$120 installed? Youd be pushin it! I can a price on an Aerpro one from Autobarn.. $129 + fit.

I got one from one of our work suppliers, WES Components (http://www.wescomponents.com/) last week for $89.95 +post ... they're bloody good.. got pretty much ANYTHING to do with electronics.

2 things with the Aerpro kit though.. I had to use the mounting bezel from the standard aerial to get it to sit at the right angle, & the wiring supplied is waaay to short to reach the headunit... both easily solved, but annoying all the same.

I had exactly the same problem. But I have read of others who haven't ... dunno what the go is... maybe a batch was wrong or something.

It depends on the store me thinks. The Autobarns with huge audio sections generally offer the service, the smaller ones you'll be lucky with. As for how long, it generally depends on the workload (as per any service provider). If they're not busy it should be drop off in the morning, pick up in the afternoon or an hour or so if you've got time to sit around and wait.
Else it'll depend on how many bookings they've got.
