hi all...

none of my front speekers work (think they were disconnected by previous owner).
pull out part of the dash... and i have a thin white wire hanging loose (been snipped).

looks like it might have connected to back of head unit (but havent pulled head unit out yet... so not sure.)

So.. my question is:
- what colour are the wires to the front speekers on a TJ ?
- any ideas what it might be ? (not many single plain white wires under the dash as far is i know).

check the circuit diagrams in the manuals (Hyanes or Gregs), the manual got the colours of wires.

Hay, sorry to interupt.. but does anyone know what colour the wire is for the power arial? On that PDF document it hasnt got it. It says on the head unit its the blue wire but it hasnt got one for mitsubishi... if you know what i mean.

look at ur power aerial I guess, follow the wire back as far as you can. Might be on a separate adapter

thats what i thought i would do.. but i cant get to the arieal due to boot install...

ive found a few older wiring/pin diagrams.. but that one was a bit more helpful.

but it still doesnt have a white mitsubishi wire....
(my car has never had a aftermarket HU in it... but previous owner changed some of the wiring... maybe they installed the white wire to... and not just snipped it).

will be pulling the whole centre console out one day.. .will find out where it goes then.

(pulling out the gear surround i found my car has the mobile phone attachment point... so i might be using that in the future.... did all magna TJ's come with that ??)

Cool, Mine also has a 12 stacker (optional extra) and has all the harnesses for the stacker under the dash. I think this was a mitsu install, but its a bit of a mess. Wires everywhere... I should really rewire all of it.

i was about to go bluetooth but my mobile got stolen and new phone hasnt got it, so crappy handsfree for me...

Used to use one of the nokia boom mics on my 3330, was pretty cool. Got a samsung now tho
