hello people, i just had an idea the other day and i though i might mention it just for the hell of it, but firstl ill ask this, u know the kits u can get that lock up your brakes at the flick of a switch, well i was jus wonderin how quickly do they deactivate?. my idea was that one of these hooked up to the rear brakes of a magna would privide a great way to stall up ready for launch, im guessing this would only have bennifits on an auto, and also, could a simple push in/out switch be adapted to mount on the steering wheel aka. "fast and furiouse nos style". now this is just an idea i had but i though it might help with the launch as you wouldnt have to have one hand on the handbrake (if thats your preffered method) to stall up, and possibly reduce your reaction time. now, i know theres probably heaps of flaws in this idea, but once again, it was just a quick thought.

cheers,
tom

Line locker?

The release time's going to be identical to your normal release of brakes.
Handbrake's still the cheapest and most efficient way, IMO
