View Full Version : Has anyone fit an 18.5" wide rim IN the guard?

My rear 15" stock tyres are in the guard so i was wondering to get 8" wide or 8.5

my rears sit in the guard with a few ppl in it. 8" wide rim.

The rear isn't a major problem if you are prepared to roll the guard. I think the offset would need to be about +30 to clear the upper suspension arm though.
My 8s are "very" close to the upper arm so an 8.5 would need to come out ALMOST a half inch to fit I would suspect.

At what offset thou?? And the fronts would have stuck out an inch for sure ... unless you had different offset front to rear.

While we are on the subject can any one point out some good rims in 18x8s? / links and ddoes any one in tassy want some 16s Sports with brand new tyers??? Sorry not want, Want to buy?

i know 8" fits.. but the question is 8.5
i just wanna know if anyone has actually GOT them in the guard.. not that i have outside and they stick out and so on, but who actually physically had/has em in there

i dont think you will have problems with 8.5 choong. also may depend on what size tyre you use too
