You would not believe the amount of people that think DASH rather than suspension LOL, um I will find out about where from its here in Adelaide, and they can install it for more, but we will be installing it ourselves.
EXPLAIN - you see the hydraulics cars - well majority of them have airbag hydraulics, thats what we are looking at doing

"hydraulic cars" as u call them, actually use Hydraulics, which use oil and pumps to move the suspension up/down, and if the pumps and seals are strong enough, can make the car bounce.
Airbags work on a similar principle but use air, which makes them "pneumatics" they are generally slower reacting and weaker than hydraulics, this however does not mean that u cant lower the car on its ass or jack it up at your pleasure, it just means the car wont bounce. Although there are pneumatic systems with which u can actually get the wheels off the ground but these are VERY VERY expensive and the compressors take up alot of room.
Just had to clear that up as the term Airbag Hydraulics pretty much contradicts itself as one uses air, the other uses liquid.

http://www.burnincustoms.com/ (QLD) has a good faq and from 1869 for a kit
My mitsi dealer recommended airbags for lowering but they aren't cheap.
But you can dial up sick puppy to steep driveway height any time.

I guess an Airbag kit wouldnt be too hard to install. Keep us updated on your progress Sam.

Pimpin Hydraulics in Adelaide is where we will get our kit from - the guys there are FANTASTiC..
Thanks for the better explination - I know the difference, but using the term "hydraulics" just helps some people understand the thought process and visualise it better.

after owning a triton on bags...it was the best fun ever! you will never regret it.
i used a a/s compressor for my air tank. It is faster way of getting air then those ugly electric ones...and the electric kill your battery quick!
it is just as easy to get a vehicle to bounce on bags as they do on 'dros'. You just need thick lines and connections (1/2" pref)
with electric compressors they are very small...about the size of an afl football. and they take alot longer to fill the tank. the only bad thing i found with an a/c compressor is a) you loose your ac. And make sure you put a few drops of oil in each 2 weeks to keep it lubbed. IM pretty sure ull use a electric compressor thow...get to VIAIR, best brand around i know of in electric.
and once a week drain out your air tank as they get alot of condensation in them.
good luck...and youl never regret bagging your ride!

oh yah...if ya wheels dont fit after you bag it...cut em out...use WHEELBARROW tubs as ur new guards. cut one in half and you got a new guard!

youl be the first genuine magna bagged in OZ...there is a few in america.
also...dont get a digital guage...they r ****! get the boost guage style guages!
if $ aint a prob try use SLAMSPECIALTIES bags...very good quality...and tuff as all ****!
one other thing on JUMPING...my minitruck used 3/8" lines and valves...if i pumped the air tank upto 300psi n beyond i could get the front wheels 1" off the ground! so you dont have to have 'dros'...just alot of power!
good luck! will b sweet!

Hey there guys,
I will try and answer lotsa of questions at once for yas ok. Installing bags in quite simple i have done cars only take a few hours. You will actully be using air cylinders though not actully bags, And air stuts in front, these actully give reasonible handling but are a rough ride as they are quite stiff so it is a bouncy ride, But yeah they are now using air cylinders in drift cars in japan so yeah obviously not bad way of going.
As for being 1st bagged magna there is one in newcastle already so yeah and a few about to be done including my own. they are all 3rd gens though so yeah if yours is not 3rd gen you might be 1st person with a 1st or 2nd gen model.
If you have any questions reguarding the install of systems addd me on msn and we can chat

Depending what state you are in will depend what extras you need. I am in nsw and know they have just brought in laws which require the vehical has a self lveleing kit that makes the car always be atelast 100mm off tehg round whilst driving you are lookin around 3000 for a kit with this function
I am currently in talks with a company about maybe much lower costs on bags so depending what happens there ill try and keep yas posted
