I need to change the small beam globes next to the H4's ... I've pulled at them with all my might and twisted them around but they won't come out. There's no mention at all of them in the Mitsubishi manual or my Haynes manual. How do I get these f&*(@$% out?

The clip holds the H4 globe.
Here's another pic from a different angle.

i think he means the parker globes
if there like most cars they need to be twisted to a point where u can tug/slide em out, and when u changed them over u need to put the plug back in and twist

the parker globes wedge in so if they have been pushed in too tight they can be hard to get out, try turning and pulling at the same time and also try using some pointy nose pliers (normal and offset ones), try to resist pulling on the wire and remove the h4 globe if u need more room.

I would reccomend that lol You'll break something.
There is a spring clip which you need to push in towards to headlight and out which will release the bulb.

Attached is a picture of the little plastic pr**k, it is just a push fit into the hole shown.
I completely removed them to put in my Parabolics while I'm manufacture contacts for the steel type holders that they come with shown in photo.

by look of his car it looks like he has normal headlights which mean they push in but if they are paras then they have the spring clip type socket.

Yup I've got normal headlights.
What way do you recommend I remove them? I can't quite figure it out looking at your pic.
I might just take out the whole headlight, my big hands have a tough time doing anything.
Just wondering, do Verada's come with para's and can they fit into a magna?

Yes and yes...
Sweet, I know what my mod will be next ;o)
I personally think para's with a gunmetal grey car would look sweet as. (plus Im trying to get some TJ Sports tail lights.

It should pull straight out, mind you my lights assemblies were out of the car. Take the overflow bottle out or battery cover off for more access, or remove the light assy its really easy 5 minute job.

I haven't tried it on the magna yet but have had promlems on previous cars where the metal fitting has corroded into the socket.
My suggestion would be to try and turn it first using as light as possible pressure with pliers. WD40 might help also but sometimes it just makes it harder to grip onto the damn thing.
Taking the light assy out wopuld be a good idea so you'll have more leaverage.

Yeah I took those out but my fingers are too big because area where the globes are is really tight. I'll just take the whole headlight assembly whenever I've got the time.

So anyone figured it out? (a way to pull out the parkers globe/socket from the assembly?)
is it a straight pull? or twist and pull? or press something and pull?
thanks a lot fellas!

Nothing wrong with a mine if it is for a reason, he used the search and that is the correct thing to do
The parkers are a bugger, you need to remove the cover from the light, as per pic above, then the globe holder comes out, the parker globe from memory is a push in style
