Hey all well the other day started the job of pullin the engine out of the TN. Got it out (no probs) and got a timing gear kit. Fitted that on and cleaned everything up and got it in yesterday.

Then the drama's began. It was in, everything was connected and i could turn the key and it turned over but just would not start.. we checked everything and spent hours pullin stuff off my TP and puttin it on the TN ( rotor button, dissy cap, coil, ECU, ) bloody everything and when u started it it would shoot a spark only once. tried new plugs and leads and still it would spark once and then nothing.

1 full day of hair ripping and curses i pulled out the Dissy itself and put the TP one in.. :bowrofl:

And all of a sudden it came to life. but it was out a cog. adjusted it and it idles..

So i have to get another destributer for it and get the timing right and it will all be good.

All the Flair kit from the TP Elante will be going onto this TN Elite. will be good when its finished. Another week or 2 to go. i will post pics when its done.
