Hello all,
I finally put all my system back together, heres some pics of it all now :D
Though i am experiencing a couple of lil probs with it
1. Alternator noise comes through back right speaker, if ya get me!
2. When you turn the HU off i get a feedback thudding noise through all speakers, like a loss of power noise?!?!?!?!?
Any way enjoy

look good mate but... i dont mean to be a smart arse, but i think by putting the subs like u have - opposing each other - there is a good chance that alot of the bass frequencies will be cancelled out by the waves from each sub crossing. when u put them next to each other facing the same way, the bass waves combine to make a stronger wave.
someone correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure thats it

Yea, theoretically the frequencies would be cancelled out. But that would happen no matter how u setup your sub/s.. cause the frequencies would be bouncing around the boot etc anyway.. whether their facing apart or in the same direction.
It wouldnt be noticable to any human ear anyway, id imagine.

Would be very noticable, not so much as bad sq, just as lower db readings. (quieter)
If your rear loaded both, and fired them at the rear, it would sound much louder in the cabin.
Eh well, at least the cars next to you will hear it!
Can you fit them in side by side? facing the rear?

np's keep ur amp/h/u settings the same and just change the direction of the subs... Would be interesting to see how much difference you notice.
Peace

Hey dude sorry no pics,
well you start by removing the door trim from the door, i had to relocate the pocket holder further back in the door to accomodate the speaker, also had to cut a hole in the door trim for the speaker. Then you proceed to take apart the rest of the trim until you can remove the arm rest part, once it is removed you can peel the rubber skin off the arm rest and reveal the plastic moulding of it. Then all i done was cut out a tweeter size hole in the right location to accomodate the tweeter, you do have to cut through some plastic suports behind the arm rest but there is plenty more there to suport its structure. once you have cut the right size then you also nee to drill a hole in the door skin where the arm rest sits against for the tweeter cable. Then you can re-apply the skin to the arm rest and cut out the tweeter hole in the skin, making sure you cut it smaller than the hole its self to allow for a tight fit. Then hook up all wires and put the trim back together and your done!
Hope that helps for any one interested in doing it, any more q's just ask :D
