Finally got around to scanning some dyno's i had when my car was stock. We were bored in the workshop so we thought we would try a few things.

We decided to see the power loss with the high beam on and heater. We lost about 8kw by doing so just with the extra current being drawn. Crazy Stuff lol

I lost 8Kws on the dyno and 0.5 seconds on the dragway with the aircon on :P

What you need to do is feed the cold air coming from the aircon into the inlet manifold. Because a 2.7 degree drop in air temp equates to a 1% increase in power, you will gain 7.4% in overall power output if the temperature is 20 degrees cooler. Subtract the 8Kw you lose by having the aircon on and you will end up at a total net gain in power output of........well...... pretty much nothing actually.
