Hey, just wondering if anyone out there has maps for both a NA 3rd gen and turbocharged 3rd gen.
If anyone has any of these it will save me alot of time and be much easier.
I will post up mine when finished.
MAPs for:
-Airflow
-Ignition
-Injection
thanks in advance :)

not a bad idea, but wouldn't it have to fairly specific to work on your car? eg, what mods u have and the tune of the engine etc etc...

I'll be having mine tuned shortly and as I have the software and cable posting them online wont be a problem.
Im sure we could catagorise them based on vehicle / mods etc. Would be interesting to see the variation between maps.

there won't be a HUGE difference between MAPs.
It is just to get started and catergorising is a good idea.
Most people have similar mods as well like air filter, muffler, things like that.

yeah i guess so, and the maps should only be a few kb to download wouldn't they?

Im sure most would be able to use my maps. I'll just be tuning it to run on RON 98, K&N CAI (same as TH Smokers), Extractors and VRX Muffler. Nothing major.
Would be good if people could just buy the emanage and copy over thier own maps, saves having to go to a tuner when their mods and car is exactly the same.
Although I would definatly reccomend going to a tuner and having it done professionally.

just as a quick guide does anyone know the general tuning adjustments. IE: 2000rpm -10 etc.
I think as stock the car runs a bit rich at idle so tuning it down for the low revs is the go and then increasing fuel up high etc??????
I am not sure so don't quote me on it. Does anyone know.

The car only runs rich on idle just after startup, once the oxy sensor is warm it is closed loop, even at idle.
I have the profec harness hooked up to the oxy, and can see it happen this way. After you coast to a stop it goes lean at idle for about 10-30 seconds, then goes back to stoich. This must be an emissions thing.
One way we could share maps is to have the base map and use the "injector" correction for the variations in fuel pressure/injector sizes. The biggest problem will be between the different ECUs. We must remember that the greddy relies on the underlying "base" from the ecu, so if they differ ... so to must the greddy maps.
