g'day guys n gals, iv got a favour to ask from everyone that has 2 12" subs in a box in the boot. would you be able to measure the box length, heigt and depth?? if you could do that i would hugely appreciate it... cheers kyle (mr_magna)

Subs are all designed for different sized boxes. According to their Theile Small parameters, amongst other things.
There are many programs out there to calculate box size, port size etc. Your manual will usually suggest a size, double check this against a program if you want. Sometimes they suggest a smaller size box to make their subs look good.
Generally you'll want the biggest box you can fit in the car. Bye Bye boot space.

yeh i kno that, im just keen to see what size other boxes are, i actually do need some boot space and the size of the box im thinking of making is about as big as it can be in the boot. i just want to know what evre 1 else is running

My Boston Pro only needs a sealed 1cuft box without internals material or 0.7-0.8cuft with material. Times that by 2 and yeah.
