1)im a stockie at the moment and i try not to look down on myself too much for it although im in the process of getting modded up, slowly as the money trickles in..
2)my gf thinks its cute but that i should leave my car the way it is and stop looking stuff up cause ill only wanna buy it, true but then i would have no fun with my car
love this website for knowledge its great to see how other peoples mods went before i go ahead and waste my money, thanks to all those who are my learning curve, otherwise id be broke, wait a minute i am broke, lol

1) Not at all..we all had stock cars at one stage. And it's all about what you learn and experience on the way.
2) Absolutely. I live on here lol

1) i'm on stock but it's getting there,
2) it's hard leaving this site, and it's making me spend more money on my car cos there's too many dame ideas from people, it's a very bad cycle, where you just get ideas, upgrade, then get more ideas, it's an extremely bad cycle for my bank account.
if i didn't sign on i'll be so much richer, hahaha, too late, i'm doomed like everyone else here

2. does anyone else find it hard to get off this website once they get on here?1. Yes... (jokes) no i think the stock magna has its place. (although i do find it embarrassing about the 4x4 ride height).. But it shouldnt be about looking down on 'stockies' its about finding like minded people and sharing friendships..
2. No, i usually get on here about an hour and 30minutes or so before i head off from work.. Soon as 5.30 ticks over im out the door.. Wont read or post on the website (usually) till the next afternoon..

In response to the 1st question; I love my stock magna as it is although i cant wait till i can afford a few mods, its bloody hard tho to refrain from doing anything to it at the moment!

It was just driving a stock magna that got me in. No never look down on a stockies, how could you? Ralliart/VRX/Sports umm production therefore stock? and the TS mmmm love that shape. Course the modded ones' get more attention but I think it's more appreciation of the work put in than a comparison to the stockies.
This site inspired all my mods and if I don't get on here every night I break out in a cold sweat.

1. Of course not. Everyone started stock. And not everyone has cash to spend (waste  ) on cars. I got a loan for the car, rims and suspension & the bank owns my nads for 4 years.
2. You mean there's a world out there? :doubt: lol

just thought id clarify, my impression wasnt that everyone looked down (on me) lol.
i have the money to do mods but ive just finished doing my audio set-up and i really dont see myself doing anything else except for maybe mags and lowering and possibly a sports exhaust. but i dont really have the desire to do anymore than that. i was just wondering what was wrong with me lol. seen as everyone else seems to be modded up the creek or has plans to.

Hhahaha not everyone wants to go ballistic on their magna, I for one was extreemlly happy with just wheels, lowered springs, exhaust, air filter and a unichip. Then I saw a manual TF for sale and bought it, transfered all the mods over minus the chip. Now I will be extreemlly happy slotted discs (next week :D ) extractors, then get the unichip back in and finnally later down the track a rear sway bar and a front strut brace lol
After that thats it for me, it will keep me happy for a 2-3 years untill I find somthing really nice....mmm wonder how much evo 8 will be going for in a couple of years

Can you put a unichip on a 3.0L 2nd gen? what does it do anyway?

It is a piggy back interceptor unit, it does what the e-manage, new haltech piggy back or anyother piggy back does. It allowes you to modiffy the air/fuel ratios and also allows you to play around with the timming. :D
