think it depends on what type of rims they are ... i had ROH Azzurro rims on mine ... you have to do a search on them to see what they look like but i scrated it up pretty bad and i got it fixed and you could never tell what wheel it was ... they sanded the chunk out and repainted the whole rim .... come up pretty good

try this link

i was quoted $25 a wheel to get fixed up only on the scratched part or $40 to get the whole rim painted like new

this place sounds good - they're in 'Fairy Meadow' but presumably they have capital city agents. They don't respond to email though (DuH) - you'll have to ring them.

I'm in the US and just contacted a place about this. Here's the correspondence. Not cheap.

Hi Jay,
The only way to repair chrome damage is to re-chrome the entire wheel. The
cost is usually
around $475 per wheel and takes about 6-8 weeks.

Thank You for your inquiry.
Feel free to call me with any questions you may have @

Thats called getting ripped off man.. Chroming wheels is expensive.. but not THAT expensive.. Youre looking at around 150 - 250 A$ a wheel..

Well actually I'm not getting ripped off because there's no way I'd pay that much. Just doing one wheel would have you halfway to a brand new set. Even at 150-250 I'd have to think real hard. I'd really have to love my wheels to pay that much for rechrome. For some reason I was thinking small cosmetic repairs would be a cheap fix.
