Hey guys,
Got a question, hoping u guys can save me money so i can d.i.y this problem...
The left indicator (the whole houseing) came loose not long ago fell onto the road, no idea where its gone... So i was confronted by 2 wires.. I taped them together so as to safeguard the wires, but STUPIDLY i taped them BOTH together instead of taping them by themselves THEN together. Now the hazards dont work.. I replaced the switch in the dashboard but they still dont work. Ive checked the fuses they are ok. Some dude wants to charge me $200 to fix it i said ill get back to him
Anyone know where to start and how to fix? as u can tell i got NFI
Thanks
prolly blew your flasher unit. uhh should be located in your footwell, gregories can tell you where it is.

Yeah try the blinker cans under the dash, round silver cannie tin Mcthingy up there some where, should be two of them one for blinkers and one for hazards... if not try fuses and switch. if that fails just use your arms as blinkers...

ull think u find the hazards and normal flashers are one unit as i had to replace mine when i 1st got the car and theres only one unit that does both, mines a lil black unit with 3 pins the older style cars had a can for both tho

There are 2 fuses for the hazards. Both mini blade fuses. if your indicators work, eith of these two will probably be blown. One is in the footwell on the drivers side. there is a lid with the descriptions on it, and also in the engine bay, near the battery, there is also one there. Tyr them, and if that dont work, i'd be checkin wiring.

Just to dig up an old thread,
I had the problem of the Hazards not working but the indicators worked fine (TF MAGNA V6)
This came abouts while i was fitting my alarm system must've upset something.
Found that in the Engine Bay Fuse Compartment the 10A fuse was blown, i had run out of 10A to replace it with so i used a 5A but that wasnt sufficient and it blew straight away when i tested them, I've installed a 15A fuse just for tonight until i can get some 10A ones tommorow (wouldnt recommend using bigger fuses).
Also note that the switch itself can get a bit sticky i just toggled it a few dozen times seemed to free it up a bit.
