Today my car is going to king springs in southport to get dropped on its guts...woohooooooo iam soooo excited!!!!!

Did everyone else who gets lowered get a front and rear wheel alignment when they got theirs done???

Was going to get it done at King Springs head quarters in southport...but decided to go with Mermaid Suspension Centre, same springs, cheaper price...go figure.

Should get the car back at 3!

All i need to do now is get a nice little arch cut into my back bumper for my cannon to sit in there snug....what sort of place does that?

could try taking it to a panel beaters or some place that does bodykits, oh yeh, wot springs u gettin?

i got mine cut out at the exhaust shop, sebring, down at mermaid did it while installing the cannon

haha. mate... lows on the back isn't that low to be making your cannon drag on the ground!

Only thing is coz its not cut into my bumper the exhaust place tilted it down a little, it already hits some gutters going up driveways.....do u notice the difference in handling after it been lowered 2"?

I've got the lows combo all round - I realise yours will sit abit lower at the front, but I've only really noticed a marginal reduction in body roll. It seems to sit alot more level when cornering at low speeds, but when you throw it around corners - there's still a noticable amount of body roll in my opinion.

Possibly upgrading the shocks would make a difference - but I plan on getting some whiteline handling mods first.

shocks should have quite an efect i reckon, but u shouldn't forget strut braces, sway bars and what not

Well after varied driving conditions tonite i'd have to say having the super lows on the front and lows on the back have dramatically changed the way my car drives....way for the better.

It now feels nice to drive, handles better, corners smoother and more precise and doesn't shake or rattle on the road, it glides....so smooth......iam very very very happy.


Now it looks like a sports car instead of a family sedan :) Will post up some pics later on if anyones interested

when i upgraded from stock height stock shocks to superlow fronts, low rears, and monroe gt gas all round, the improvement in handling was massive! Just so much nicer/smoother/safer to drive :) It will be the first mod i do to cars i buy in future.
