I want to lower my TR shortly, after I get my alloys in the next week or so, if i pick up the springs myself about 50od each, it should just cost that if you do it yourself?

Be warned, its not a real easy job. You'll need spring compressors, ball joint splitter (I assume on a magna) etc, etc. Plus you'll need a wheel alignment afterwards. Personally I would get a workshop to fit them.

If you're around Bayswater VIC I know of a place that will do it farily cheap.

EDIT: I just noticed you're not from VIC so thats not gonna help!

the last time i got my springs changed, they charged me $90 for the front pair (install). But def shop around. and dont just look at suspension joints either ( i got mine done at donellan's the tyremen)

we do springs install for a TR at $90 whole car. But obviously that in Adelaide and you get to get your hands dirty too if you wish, that's half the fun.

Definitely shop around, but at the same time, experience count a lot, do pick someone who has done TR before and knows Mitsubishi.

For wheel alignments go around the corner to TruTrack 9326 5392 and speak to Luke who is a certified suspension analyst and actually knows what terms like effective spring rate and radial force mean! They charge $90 for a 4 wheel alignment and were the only people who could fix my car drifting to the left (irrespective of road camber).

Hmm i might call then too i am seriously considering lowering my car further..
