Could someone help assist me with reprogramming the remote controller for a Magna TJ?

should be the same as my TH, turn your car from off to "on"(do not start the car) 3 times then press each button once. wasn't as simple as that for me i had to stuff around a bit to get them to work. may have to go from off to accessories 3 times then press each button till they beep.

Thanks for that. I called up the information help line, and was promptly told that the instructions were in the user manual. I went home and read the manual and said the exact thing that you wrote.

Has anyone purchased a 3rd party remote? I am guessing that getting a new remote from Mitsubishi is a costly affair?

Anyone know how much an extra key would cost?

both around $70 i think. Takes a couple of days to get new keys too. They have to send it off etc. Give mitsu a buzz to confirm

$59 for a replacement from mitsi, they program for ya, takes em like a second, also comes with boot release button :)

as the for key, for a master key the black one $110 as they have to send up from adelaide or somewhere with a key cut for your VIN number then they send up and the misti programs it to your car have to plug in their comp n stuff to yur car
