Please see this thread http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13055 and see the pic with the tweeter I have used double sided tape to stick it there, but it just wont hold it for too long.

Any suggestions on what to use to secure the tweeters there?

Thanks in advance.

Blu tac would do the job, OR if you wanted to go pro i've heard you can get tweeter pods from mitsubishi off a vrx for $15 or something.

screws?

there is no real need to shove ur tweeters in such a high location. ok, it sounds great for your right ear...uno, piercing high pitched treble, but i don't reckon it sounds that great.

i put mine here.

I actually played around with the positioning of the tweeter whilst the stereo was playing, and found that to be the best spot for me, I find it to be a good mix and seeing how I'm the owner of the car that's how it stays :D

NO, NEVER! MOVE IT OR I'LL STAB U :P ..j/k

nah, there should be holes for screws there, just screw them into the door trip. u'd be surprised how inconspicuous the holes u drill in the door trims become. the vinyl seems to cover it a bit. if not...silastic?

Yeah I will most likely go down the silastic road, but blu tak seems to be holding it their for the moment!

In the kick panels facing the opposite headrest... And i just screwed through the carpet into the plastic with a mounting plate and drilled a hole through for the wires. then the tweeter just clips on. Also, if I uninstall them there is no hole there cos the carpet is thick enough to cover it up...

On another note, I just finished my proper iPod install, so I got a Belkin car charger and remote installed into the car. All the wires neatly hidden behing ( I spliced into the ciggy lighter from the back) And bought a cd changer line in adapter for my JVC h/u so there's no more messy wires into the front aux input. All of this onto a makeshift suction cup to hold my ipod firmly in place.

Hey i got bored... :)
