Hi,
When I try to turn over the car it wont turn over, engine starts but no petrol going into the chambers, called RAC and guy came out and injected some petrol into the Inlet manifold (he showed me how to do it). He says that the EFI could be stuffing up. Just wondering how much would it cost to fix (could I do it myself, how?).
Thanks

'EFI' is a broad thing. You (or someone in the know) needs to work out exactly what EFI component is not working. It could be the ECU, the fuel pump or any of the sensors. I suggest first to check the engine codes in memory and see if anything comes up. Its as simple as wiring a lead into the diagnosis connector to an earth point. Of course if you can't do that, take it to a Mitsu workshop where they can just plug their MUT-II into the system. Of course then you'll need to work out how to transport it then also pay for them just to check it....

Anyhow, is there anything else that stopped working in your car at the same time the car stopped cranking? TRBoy had a similar problem where it took him a minute or two before he got it cranking, and it was all because of a failed fusible link.
