(Now corrected)

Owning a lathe, air grinding tools etc makes boring throttle bodies easy work, just takes a little time.

I have acquired a non-cruise control t/b to suit the 6G72 and 6G74 V6's. It has been flowed & cleaned and is going to be installed wednesday into my TF 6G72 or TJ 6G74, I haven't decided. When these have all been flowed and replaced, I will have a spare FLOWED / DE-LIPPED Throttle Body to sell and exchange.

I expect a charge of $110 for flowing/de-lipping (inc freight to 'wherever you are') and a deposit for your t/b, which I will need back asap! I'm such a nice guy I'll even throw in a new gasket and detailed instructions for installation! :D

All the members have been a HUGE help to me so I hope I can help in this way to give something back.

Cheers.

If you're interested PM me for details and an order form etc. :D

If you have other model t/bs lying around that need work, PM too!

When you say 'BORED' - do you mean increased diameter, and fitted with a custom butterfly?? or are you just referring to the fact that it has had lumps/bumps/lips ground out of it (flowed)?

Either way it sounds like a good deal - and if the 'spare' you end up with is suitable for a car with cruise control - I might just take you up on the offer myself.

Sorry for the misleading, the unit is FLOWED and tidied up. Initially I thought there wasn't much to remove but that became myth in no time as mm after mm was shed from the sides. Trying to get a gasket today proved fruitless  , got to order them in but they're only a couple of dollars. Waiting game for now

I investigated an oversize butterfly and larger diameter boring, but the t/b is offset and won't bore easily (or economically :doubt: ). I'm told the forbidden company no longer oversizes their t/bs, just flows them. I notice the price didn't change either :gtfo: . Correct me if I'm out of line.
