Hey all,
I dont wanna spend too much for wheels as ive been told excess is $900 to have ur wheels covered... Whats the friggin point then?????
Anyway, what u guys think of these in gunsmoke colour on a TH?

I like those wheels, but on a big car like a Magna they need to be 19" to look nice. 17" ones would only really suit a Lancer or Mirage, Civic, etc.

Well if money could afford I would get 18's or even 19's but as im on a pretty limited amount to spend, I havent seen many ppl put these on a magna.. These can be had for 1000... 17x7s....

Those wheels would suit a TH really well in my opinion. 17" would look good, but bigger is always better. :D
HP Designs..? Doesn't soothers have them? :P

IMO those (in 17") would look a bit small on a magna... 18s would make a world of difference
but nonetheless it's a great design :)

I like them but they are becoming very popular and always see them on a 200 or wrnext.
I agree with the rest, maybe 17`s will be a bit small. go 18`s.. it will be worth it in the end...

my suggestion go for 18's!

After looking at that picture above, i think you cannot go 17's if you want a really "show car" Don't get me wrong they'll look fine in 17's, but if u got 18's with a nice low profile rubber and went quite low with the suspension will look perfect.
Its getting hard to get a nice set of rims, and them not to be common on every bloody civic, wrx etc. just like those zenetti techs-everywhere.
if i may make a small suggestion, before you buy your rims, go to a small, independent tyre and wheel place that sell rims. I did this and got a better price and fantastic service. also they sometimes have rims that other places do so shop around and take your time

Thanks for the comments all... They look nice on that magna pic put up on here... THey do look just a tad too small but... That sux! The reason why i think im getting 17's is because insurance will not allow 18's. But when you think abot it, 17s are better than the 15inchers i got now!

Yea and just remember since with this type of rim the spokes go all the way the edge, it does look bigger than they actually are!!!
I don't particaully like them personally

They dont look too small (well i have 14" wheels so i dunno if my opinion counts on that :P). But anyway, they're ok, but i dont like the seperated spoke look. I'm just a 5 spoke plain and simple kinda guy. Like the standard XR6 mags i think they are. 16"/17" would be big enough, i find if there's not enough tyre/more wheel showing it looks too over the top.

LOL there is such a thing as too big,,,possibly 20 plus inches, but seriously 18's set the car off sweet!!!! 17's is ok, but for looks factor, 18's or 19's on a magna, can't do any better than that.!!!!

I find that wheels where the spokes go right to the edge of the rim like these ones look bigger than wheels whos dont. Also the smaller the profile tyre you need for the bigger rim size, the less comfortable the ride.
Just my opinion on the matter

is it really possible to put up 18" wheels on a Mag. Wow i thot 17 was the limit.

18's definetly not the limit either ppl got 19s on ere too... Anyone got 20's?
The size doesnt increase that much as the tyre profile becomes smaller...

Yeah, to keep the overall diameter the same (or close to) as you get bigger wheels, you go down in tyre profile. Obvious I know but sometimes necessary to spell these things out.
When you do this your ride comfort diminishes as there is less tyre 'give' and even with stock shocks you'll definitely feel the rougher ride.
Thats all I was trying to say, very inarticulately.
I have 17 x 8 ROH adrenalins and I love em but I probably wouldn't got any larger as it is a family wagon after all. :D
