Howdy,

Can someone who has gone through this before (or has the workshop manuals) please tell me every part I need to do a factory cruise control fitment to my 97 TF 3L auto?

Cheers,

Dave

I'll try and list as much as I can:

* Vacuum hose (from pump to throttle body i think)
* Electric Vacuum pump and bracket assembly
* Cruise Control ECU
* Control stalk
* Stop lamp switch
* Inhibitor switch
* Throttle position sensor

Thanks TecoDaN,

I spotted a magna with cruise at a wreckers a couple of weeks ago, hope people haven't taken everything!

Cheers,

Dave

wish my gf's 98 magna had cruise control, would have preferred it much more than the Speed Alarm it came with :nuts:

is it easy to install if u have all the pieces?? im guessing it would be much better to get one off a magna than one of the dodgy looking kits K-Mart have..

Ok, I have the following pieces now:

- Vacuum hose (from pump to throttle body)
- Electric Vacuum pump and bracket assembly
- Control stalk
- Throttle position sensor
- Dash cruise button

Still need:

* Cruise Control ECU
* Stop lamp switch
* Inhibitor switch

*wiring loom (or parts of, as the 4 pin plug for the motor doesn't exist on my car.)

Anyone know where the cruise ECU lives?

Cheers,

Dave

The Cruise ECU is under the main ECU IIRC.

Thanks,

Let's just hope it's still there by the time I get back to it!
