Well ive gone and changed all spark aspects from the last episode, so new disi cap rotor plugs and leads. Also changed the fuel filter.
O.k now the car idles fine however once you reach around 2500+ rpm the revs surge then drop off, surge drop off until you ease up on the throttle. When you put the car in gear it only has to reach around 2000rpm and it farts and doesn't like to go any higher than that let alone go forward.
I had one of the plenum bolts loose its thread a while back at least 3months ago so i don't think that this is my cause.
Any thoughts anyone????
I will try to get the car to EGO's mate Ben but i'm gonna be heaps busy over the next month so any help or knowledge about the symptoms would be muchly appreciated.

It could possibly be the TPS playing up (throttle positioning sensor-duh) so give that a check

Yeah had NRMA guy around told him what was going on showed him everything i had checked, so he asked why i gave them a call as he said that that was all i could check on. But we had a good look over and we both came up with TPS or possible vacuum leak. But most likely the TPS as when the car surged it did it then dropped off evenlynot roughly so that's why he too thinks its the TPS. Hopefully i can pick up one tomorrow.

Time to pull codes from the computer. Otherwise, you'll end up guessing and wasting lots of money on parts.
The computer wil tell you where to start looking.
