Can anyone give me the details on removing the gearbox from a 3l v6 TE, particually the Clutch removal, i need to change the gearbox. if anyone has a manual they can scan, that'd be much appriciated.

if u check out the thread on my manual conversion, theres a few pics there, honestly i wouldn't do it myself, my mate that is doing mine used to be a mechanic at a mitsi dealer, and knows what he's doing.... even in a workshop, you'd find it difficult to have it done in 6 hours

much easier ive found to just find some one to do it for you,
i got charged $250 to get mine taken out and new one put in,
just ring around and ask transmission places

i am quite competent, and i have some help, however i just wanted to once over the workshop manual before i start,

i have all the stuff i need, just pullin the box out, change diff, then chuck it back in , cant be that hard, i have more then 6 hours, and plenty of hands,

alternativly does anyone know where i can get a workstop manual i find most places dont have them in stock

ahhh changing diff, that'll be the hard part... i know my mate is putting aside a couple of days to do that properly!

is that website with the downloadable workshop manuals still up and running?
