I am fed up with Mitsu service in Sydney. Simple as that. So can anyone recommend me in Sydney metro a mechanic that deals with late model magnas that actually knows what they are doing?

Bit of a hik but one of the best mechanics in Sydney i know of:

Paul Knott at Moorebank. His shop is right around the corner from Liverpool Exhaust. They do lots of racing stuff and custom buildups but will do your normal book services.

All of our cars have been going to him for years and we will never let anyone else touch our cars

Ron at coltspeed meadowbank is one that springs to mind for me.
Knows a sh*tload about mitsubishis and a good all round workshop.

I bring my magna to this machenic in artarmon who seems to know what they are doin but what I like is the fee they charge.

I have done
oil+filter change $50 (done 3 times now)
replace both cv boots $150 (i was quoted $275 for each side elsewhere)
change air filter $100
re-fit tyres to a set of 2nd hand mag wheels $40

maybe the oil is crap but hey I change every 5,000 (fingers crossed)

just a cost effective option there... probably not the cheapest but at least I don't get ripped off
