I have already had my car lowered 35mm but want lower. Phillcom will sell me some good superlows but i am nervouse about how much it might effect ride comfort... i have NO problem with a firm ride, i love the handling improvment but there is still room cause she is still quite comfortable (has new pedders suspension) but i dont want to havee a situation where she is as hard as a rock and uncomfortable to have 3 passangers in..... has anyone got superlows on their 2nd gen that can tell me what the ride feels like?

And without sounding stupid i am still not 100% how my suspension works,
what are gas struts for?
i assume the struts and the shockers are not the same thing?
and what are the springs for (besides setting ride height?)

Ryan i have my car springs that i believe to be lower than superlows.
I got some king springs custom wound to the height i wanted which was about 55mm on the front at somthing similar on the rear, a bit lower.
yeah the ride is firm but its livable and it handles like **** to a blanket with just KYB shocks and king springs plus a struct brace.

ryan the "gas strut" is short for Macpherson strut, its basically both the shock and spring assembled together with the shock absorber (usually gas filled) inside the spring, if yours is 2nd gen u only have struts at front, seperate spring and shock at rear.
