Hi, I know there have been a few threads with info on tyres. But I was wondering if anyone is driving a TR with the mentioned Dunlop tyres in 225/50/16??
Ive currently got Firestone SZ50's and they were a brilliant tyre, but I dont like having the same tyre on twice. Dont ask me why, Im just stupid..
If you are on these tyres can you let me know what you think, as Im about to buy some soon.
Although i may be tempted into something else if someone swears by it.
PS, not a pirelli or goodyear fan, sorry but havent had much luck with either.

It's a pity I don't live in SA, because I am so sick of typing this all over again after I was timed out  I'd rather just tell you verbally.

But in a word: FANTASTIC.

I personally rate them better than the Yokohama A539s. So the 3000As must be the logical step up for you from your SZ50s.

I paid $185 each for mine. Not cheap, I know, but I need a tyre that performs, and the 3000A acquits itself very well for the money IMHO.

I will type everything out again later. Or you can wait for the next Wheels tyre test :P

Thanks mate..
encouraging words. and its good to get info on the same car. i hate it when other people say its a good tyre, but they are driving a rear wheel drive.. of which magnas arent the nicest car to save mileage on tyres..
185 bucks seems about right, and its about what im prepared to spend.
Id rather have decent tyres on mine, than cheap no brand crap..
you just never know when they are needed to perform for safety reasons..
thanks again for the reply..
