I have a 3litre tf magna with aircon and I am absolutely shocked to find that every car parts store i've been in touch with dont carry stock of either the power steering belt or aircon/alternator belt.

Has anyone else had so much trouble finding these drive belts.

Managed to get a belt for power steering to get me by but its a little too long and i can't tension it enough (slips when at full lock)

I will be harassing mechanic who only had belt off 24hrs before it went as well

u'll find no places stock parts for magnas (well for me anyways)

when i needed a new hub bolt no one cept mitsu had them

when i needed the nut for the tension pully only mitsu had them (they even told me htey might not have one!)

and a few other things ive looked for and to no avail most places i ask say no one will stock them

Your best bet is too call mitsu, ring around a few mitsu's sometimes prices vary

Super Cheap Auto should be able to order one in for you, call them and ask them.

yeah most places can order them in. Doesn't help when the belt is broken now.
Its all sorted. It's not like its goggo mobile or anythin'
Ah well I'll get over it

Bosch definitely makes the two types of belts (checked their catalog), but i've never seen them stock in aftermarket spare part stores.

But I paid $7 for the alternator belt, and $70 for the power steering belt from Mitsu.
