do you guys reckon i could gain better proformance by changing to proformance Ignition Leads?
any one got any brands that should be good for this? BOSCH?
i dont think id gain any power tho? am i wrong?

*talking from bottom* I have been told that you should always change the leads and plugs before you have a Dyno as it is the quickest way to get a quick boost..
Better leads.. better spark.. better spark better bang... better bang for fun. :lol:

Car may run more smoothly and idle better, you might even notice a small flat spot has gone,
but it wont give you more performance really

since my post abt when to change ignition leads, i have spoken to my local mitsu dealer and done some research online. the local mitsu says ppl don't often report of worn leads cos they should last pretty long. i asked him again how long is 'pretty long', he said right abt 150,000 kms prob you could change em'. online, the mitsu america website recommends a change of ignition leads every 60,000 (approx 97,000 km) miles. but yea, i think most ppl just wait till something plays up (e.g. engine misfire). careful with performance leads cos i heard they can be quite a nuisance with no real benefits. instead you might get alot of interference in your speakers if you use em' due to the higher current they carry.
