Hi all

Wondering if someone can help me here. Need to replace my ECU as its fried itself. I got the part number from mitsubishi. Part number AW319647.

What i need to know asap ... is this ECU a two or three pin ECU as i am heading to the wreckers soon to track down a replacement.

also, does the transmission matter??? as my car is manual, can i take the ECU from an Automatic wreck?

What do u mean whether an ECU is 2 or 3pin? For what plug are you referring to? The ECU has MANY pins.

From what i've heard from those who did an auto->manual conversions, the auto ECU seem to work fine on the manual tranny, maybe a couple of wire jumpers may be needed to pretend the auto transmission is still there.

sorry ... i think i meant 2 or 3 Plugs
