Hey guys,
im heading to newcastle next week and im after a new exhaust, i either want a magna flow or a redback system for my 97 TE Verada with 2.5"piping and high flow cat back to the engine bay. Can anyone from there direct me to somewhere where i can get this done cheaply and give the price they got it done for as they quote rediculas prices where im from. Also prices for extractors would be good if anyone can help out here as well.
cheers

mate, i have no idea what a cat back redback or magnaflow cost (i wouldn't touch the redback though... supposedly they're made of better stuff, but the two magna 3L i've been in with redback systems droned their damn heads off!, at least compared to mine (LR2779)... the magnaflows are probably better, i haven't heard one... but they cost better too!).

I got a quote the other day however for pacemaker extractors installed with new flex pipe for $660... i can't remember the name of the place but they're in Merewether i think (i got it out of the yellow pages). Most places were quoting over $800 for it... some upwards of $1300 just for the extractors, no new flex pipe!!!

Hey im sure u can get the extractors from

OnlinePerformance (http://www.onautos.com.au/store/cart.php)

They have the pacemakers for $380 from what ppl say.

I say go with the MagnaFlow it sounds absolutely awesome as i have one.
It gets pretty loud too so if u wanna go quiet then go redback, but then build quality goes down, while the magnaflow is made of stainless steel.

I'd go the cheaper as the performance gains and very minor with exhuast systems

unless you have a turbo, or a few breathing mods (CAI doesnt count)
