Howdy,

I want to buy a set of 3 front spark plugs for my TF 3.0L this afternoon, and the owner's manual is at home.

From what I've gathered from searching the forum is that the factory plug is an NGK, and from their website, it says the recommended plug is the BKR6E-11. Is this the correct plug for the front 3?

Cheers,

Dave

For a '98 and earlier its the NGK BKR6E-11 or Nippon Denso K20P-U11
For after '98 use the NGK BKR5E-11 or Champion RC10YCC4 (I use these)

Hope it helps, hope the info's not too late!

I've put platnium plugs in the front banks

Thanks EZ-Boy, but yep, too late - but I did get the correct (NGK BKR6E-11) for my 97.

Also, any idea why there'd be a change after 98?

Cheers,

Dave

The rear ones are "long life" - KMart don't sell 'em. lol

Magna V6 sits transversely so there's your front & rear banks. Rear bank sits very close to the firewall and is impossible to ascess easily (double-jointed dwarfs excepted).
