depending on where the leak is. If it's leaking from the oil filter, just try to tighten it up a bit more, if it doesn't stop, get a new oil filter and put the oil filter on properly!

Get some degreaser or something and clean the whole area up first (whole engine would be better if its dirty). Then U might be able to pinpoint where the leak is coming from after giving it a little run.
If you cant be bothered getting under to have a look then maybe you should take it to a mechanic but we cant help if you cant tell us exactly where its comming from

well fortunately i have the same problem and my mechanic told me it's the crank seal worn out thus spitting some oil out. and this is how the service cost looks like:
seal kit $ 22.50 (crank & cam seals)
timing belt $ 125
labor (4 hrs) $ 240
being a student he'll do it for $350 all up. he also mentioned timing + oil = potential snapped belt that's why it has to be done too
hope that's help, btw car is TR V6 and i have 270k on it

it was the sump plug as previously the oil was leaking out of the bottom sump on closer inspection it was tightened a bit but not fully so a drip every now and again, not the transmission

Next time I suggest you have a look in your boot first. In there Mitsubishi has been kind enough to supply you with what the common person calls a 'jack' (you might have heard of these?!?).
Raise your 'very low' car up enough then hold it there with some stands and put your head under to have a look.
Often we overlook the most simple things.
