yer, be scared, the clear lights ARE NOT ADR approved, so it very well could affect your insurance

keep your old lights in your boot and if u get rear ended - smash the red ones over your clear ones

They can cancel ya insurance or payments if there is a defect on your car!!

make sure your brake lights r RED

and with the white reflector (making it illegal) go to an auto store and buy sum red reflectors...fixs the problem!

You can allways get some transparent red contact and stick it over your white reflector therefore making it red.

Keep in mind Aussie Magna sells these for 220 (RRP $258)

These are still the fav feature of my car, love them to death.

thanks all. so if i cover over the clear reflector with red reflective tape it makes them legal? How owuld this look? i would hate to spend that much on sweet lights but then have to stick reflective tape on them. Is that what u mean? or can u somehow open up the lights?
thanks

If you take your time to do it properly it will look good. You don't have to do it and just keep your fingers crossed you don't get defected (i've had mine for nearly 2 years and never been pulled over for them).
