Don't think so.

Hurricane is manufactured by Liverpool Exhaust, seen them making them.

Extractors are fitted, they are Pacemaker. Midas done a very good job of fitting these and they look very nice:)
I was not very happy as i didnt notice any power gains from take off, doing 80km and giving it a boot full you did notice the difference. I have now got a 2.5' sports exhaust fitted with hi-flow cat, and is a huge difference in take off and high speed.
I have also just bought a FPR kit and fitted this, i am very happy and is a HUGE gain in power, $355 delivered!!!

Also wanted to let everyone no that i have finally conned my Dad in trying to Hi-Flow a throttle body i have here, Should be very easy for him to do as he has his own shop (Gun Smith). I will post pictures here over the weekend of before and after, If all goes well i will buy a few more throttle bodies and sell them on ebay. I have the Hi-Flow throttle body and paid Dave at RPW $260, My dad thinks $260 is expensive because its only about 30 minutes work.

They are not manufactured by Liverpool Exhaust, its actually a different company, however they do have a strong relationship between the two (In fact i think they are run by the same family) and their buildings are no more then 100metres apart.

See, the gains depend on the headers' design. Some are more suitable for low - mid rpm and some are designed for mid - high. I don't know what Pacemaker's are like.

Is that a rising rate FPR? What pressure is it set to? Let us know how your fuel economy goes. :)

You really think out of all those mods the FPR gave a really good increase... thats strange from what i've read in these forums over the past few months...

Especially due to the fact extractors + zorst combo is ment to be one of the best and cheapest increases..

Maybe I also think this because I had each mod bed in for atleast a month before I did another so I knew the particular difference each mod gave on the performance.

Extractors being the best thing i've done so far.

Why would your dad be concerned at all with the 'touchyness' of his throttle?

The FPR did make a big difference in power, Have it set to 45PSI. I know a guy that fitted a sports exhaust, K/N Filter & the FPR kit and gained 13KW at the wheels. I have seen the dyno results so i no he is not telling BS.

How much was the FPR and where did you buy it?

I'm not doubting him but that still sounds dodgy. The idea behind fitting an FPR isn't to add power. It's to remove the loss of power due to a loss of fuel pressure. A car usually runs rich from factory so adding more fuel isn't going to add more power unless there's more oxygen going in too. Now better breathing mods might aid this however it's still going to be within the tune of the factory ECU. This sounds bizzare.

Ive got a FSE FPR, the stock ECU starts to do stupid things with it in there, it seems to 'reverse' the response the FPR gives, like it scales back the fuel maps. Unless i reguarly adjust the pressure (from 40-50 every few days) to keep the ECU guessing, i wont notice its in there.
I originally got it to iron out the low-rev flatspots that everyone talks about.
When i first got it installed it was on a really hot day and drove the car about 150ks around windy forest roads and thought it was unbelieveable, especially for the response i was getting in the hot weather. A week later, i never knew it was in there.

Trancer, what has been the max fuel pressure you have seen on your FPR with the vac hose removed after setting idle pressure at say 45psi etc.,

How much does the FPR cost & where from? RPW?
