hey i got a 1994 ts sedan 5speed manual 3l model and i am lookin at fitting a pod filter just wondering if it is alrite to have one sitting so close to the battery. ive fitted heaps of these into commodores and civic n stuff but this one is alot closer. and i no u gota keep the air flow meter sensor n ****.owe and if any one has done this post a pic plZ :)

no the battery wont affect it at all. so dont stress about that.
if ur putting in a pod for performance gain, you wont find any. cause as evweyone will tell you its just sucking in hot air. But if your after under-bonnet looks, then go nuts :D

yer i no it will be sucking hot air but it is still gunna sound beta than a stock air box and also ill be doing a CAI for it and heat sheild and **** just wanted to no weither it was safe to be that close thanks (Y)

what kinda pod? oval or round, ive got round works much better than oval, and i just have it sticking up ill send a pic tonight to show ya, i think its worth doing, all u need is a box for it for better preformance> im alomost done with a box but will it work??

I thought it had to be an oval pod? Something to do with the sensing of the airflow.

ill most likely be putting on a K&N pod filter as my mates dad manages a repco and can get stuff at cost price. thatd be awsome if ya posted that pic thanks

ive got a few pics, on one of them u can see a red plug, thats were ive blocked a hole, makes more air flow to engine, oh and oal pods are wat they say suits better i tend to belive roucd is the way to go, mine is the trumpet its got a nice sound when u take off....
