Hi everybody,
Took my magna sports into servicing yesterday.
I complained of a very hollow sounding exhaust note under acceleration and deceleration.
The mitsi ppl said it is a "rattle under acceleration"... and my car requires a new "front engine pipe"
Now i'm aware of a common problem re: flex pipe and loose plates in the exhaust manifold / headers, but could my hollow exhaust note be as a result of this same problem or a seperate exhaust leak??
Anyways, i was quoted $600 to fix this problem which is an annoyance at most.
If i buy a new set of pacemaker extractors will this solve the problem? or would a new flex pipe suffice?
thanks in advance
