hey guys,
just a quick question! my tr has this problem that when im moving there is a clicking sound coming from somewhere in the fromt of the car. it is an obvious sound, and the sound gets faster if i accelerate. if i brake while moving, the sound temporarily goes away, until i take my foot off the brake again. ive been told it could be something to do with the brakes but i have no clue!

and 1 more other question.. whenever i turn left, and accelerate or turn left at speed, there is quite a large crunching sound. wats goin on and how much will it cost me to get it fixed?

any feedback would be much appreciated! btw, i agree there isnt enough boobs in these threads, lol. :P

Does the crunching sound like the engine is mis-firing, or the wheel is rubbing. Check your power steering fluid, or could even be the power steering taking too much power from the engine if it is mis-firing. Could be caused by electrical faults such as worn leads or plugs. My car also has the clicking sound i dunno what the hell it is. Could possibly be the brakes cuz my front brakes do need replacing soon.

If it's a clicking noise it might be your CV joints.

My guess would be the CV joints as well

have ur driving shafts checked out.

A CV joint is part of your driving shaft. The outer joint is most probably whats clicking when you turn left.

If it is ur shafts that are the making the noise while u are driving straight, i would definately suggest u stop driving the car, cause its extremely dangerous if the shaft fails while u are at a high speed.

i seriously suggest having the car looked at asap!
before u die. this is serious.

good luck

Did you get the noise checked?
Cause the last few weeks mines gotten louder and now i can even hear a squeak squeak sound coming from the front wheels intermittently. The clicking sound happens in a straight line, dunno about corners.

dude replace ur shafts!!! it only $77 each shaft

if its happening in a straight line and has something to do with ur shafts, itd be ur inner joints and thats one of the most dangerous things that could happen if they lock up!!

if the outer joints fail they simply free spin, so ur wheel wont move but the shaft is spinning. If the inner fails it will cease and if ur at a high speed. bye bye life
